Skiing
 In the winter, alpine skiing and snowboarding are, without a doubt, major activities to do during your stay in Quebec, whatever the region you are visiting. In fact, Quebec has an exceptional geographical location that gives it long winters with abundant snowfalls of about 3 metres (9 feet). Regions of the Eastern Townships, Charlevoix, Laurentides and Québec are particularly lucky by the height of the mountains and by the abundance of snow they receive each winter.
Ski and snowboard enthusiasts can then have fun in the numerous beginners or expert trails. In all the ski resorts, you can rent your equipment and take beginner or intermediate lessons. You have no reason not trying these fun winter sports!
Cross country enthusiasts will also love the hundreds of kilometres of trails, which travel through the regions that are less hilly like Bas-Saint-Laurent, Lanaudière, or Outaouais. Some cycling paths also allow the practice of cross country skiing on the designated paths. Enjoy winter at its best!
