ZEC
 In Quebec, more than 60 ZEC, which are controlled exploitation areas, invite you to discover wild nature of its country. In the Mauricie, the Laurentides and the Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions, you will find the highest number of ZEC of the province, but you will also find at least one in each region of the province, except in Nunavik and Montréal. The main goal of this world's unique facility is to manage and preserve wildlife found in it. Overall, a 50,000 km2 territory id then protected and enhanced.
At first, ZECs were mainly visited by hunting and fishing enthusiasts. Today, a great number of activities can be done on these territories.
