Art Galleries & Antiques
 Art has a great importance in Quebec. That's why numerous art galleries chose to settle in several regions of Quebec, mostly in the regions of Charlevoix, Mauricie and the Eastern Townships. Inside these galleries, you will find works of art of different styles, like oil paintings, watercolours, pastels, photos or sculptures. Most of the works presented in the galleries are made by Quebecer artists, but also by Canadian artists and artists from everywhere in the world. Most of the galleries show works of art, but they also have a boutique where you can buy the artists' works. Some galleries even have a shop where you can see the artists at work! In Gaspésie, the Route des Arts (art route) allows you to visit all the art galleries and to discover local talents.
Antique dealers, for their part, display ancient objects. In these antique dealer shops, you will find furniture, dictionaries and encyclopaedia, objects useful for the daily life like counterpanes, dishes and even jewellery! You will find these boutiques in almost all the regions of Quebec, but more particularly on Saint-Paul street in Québec, in the region of Sainte-Eulalie in Centre-du-Québec, or in Old-Montréal.
