Relaxation in a Natural Setting

Nordic Station
Everything Started …
In Finland! Yes, this Nordic country is the homeland of saunas. Since the dawn of time, Finns have used hot stones to produce the steam needed to purify their systems. These stones were traditionally heated by a wood fire. Nowadays, the methods used to heat the stones differ from one sauna to the other, but most of the saunas still use hot stones. In addition to the sauna itself, Finns use a three-step technique: HOT-COLD-REST. After a sauna session, people jump in ice-cold water. This technique closes the pores of your skin, increases your cardiovascular activity and stimulates your organism. In order to feel all the advantages of this activity, it is recommended to repeat the steps three or four times.

A few years ago, these Finnish saunas and their benefits crossed the Atlantic to slowly settle in Quebec. There is no doubt about their popularity now. Saunas can now be found in several regions of Quebec, and especially in the beautiful Eastern Townships region, which enjoys an enchanting location. Established in the heart of this region, Spa Nordic Station is one of the precursors of this flourishing industry. Besides, it was the first Nordic spa to have a typically Finnish sauna and to be identified as the most “authentic Nordic spa”.

Nordic Station

Relaxation and nature
Nordic Station opens you its doors to offer you a fully relaxing experience in the heart of nature, in the beautiful setting of the Castle brook. A real peaceful haven, this place invites you to an unequalled unwinding experience, summer and winter alike. Fulfill your desire for relaxation in one of the saunas built in natural pine wood, where the dry heat is kept between 80 and 90 °C, and then dive into the river, the baths or the cascades.

For its 3rd anniversary, Spa Nordic Station continues to offer you the best of Nordic spas. You can now enjoy the new sunny terraces, the two Californian-style whirlpool baths, as well as the many indoor or outdoor massage rooms. The hammam, a Turkish steam bath, will leave you with a well-being feeling, just like the Nordic cascade, which ends up in a natural, fresh water basin. Everything at the Nordic Station is made in the total respect of the environment, and the site is in perfect harmony with nature.

You would like to please one of your relatives? Offer one of Spa Nordic Station’s gift-certificates. You can also offer one of the packages especially designed to make you discover the region’s attractions. Choose the Aventure-Détente package, which allows you to visit Arbre Aventure in Eastman, or the Saveurs et Détente package to mix a good wine from the Vignoble le Cep d’Argent to your relaxing day. You can also rent the entire site for a business meeting that combines a well-deserved relaxing moment. Whatever the reason why you are looking for a relaxing moment, Nordic Station is the appropriate place for you.
