Color Festival and Sense & Flavours Festival

Festi-Glace
In February, the l'Assomption river transforms into a 9-kilometre long skating rink, which makes it the longest in Quebec. While street entertainers play with families, some are getting ready for concerts and fireworks.

The Festival de Lanaudière celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. For 30 years already, this festival proposes symphonic and chamber music, as well as internationally known lyric artists. You can see these performances on the outdoor stages in Joliette. This is the most important event of its kind in Canada.
