Festivals & Events: Eastern TownshipsEach year, several events are presented in the Eastern Townships. Come participate in the most famous ones like the Fête du chocolat de Bromont, the Traversée internationale du lac Memphrémagog, or the Correspondances d'Eastman. Other festivals and events are less known, but deserve all your attention, like the Ouverture de la chasse à courre, the Contes à la vieille forge de Dudswell, or Les Faucheurs de marguerites.

Brome Fair
Come and live the excitement of the farm and interact with the animals at Brome Fair.
Brome Lake Duck Festival
Come taste the famous Brome Lake's duck. In the streets of Knowlton, you can attend culinary demonstrations, admire works of art made by local artists and craftsmen or participate in the many other activities.
Bromont art fair
When attending the Symposium Bromont en art, visitors can admire the remarkable talent of many artists. They will also have the chance to visit an art gallery.
Bromont Caballista
This event gathers almost 500 riders coming from 8 different regions of Québec. The program provides hunter, equitation, show jumping, dressage and cross-country competitions.

The storytelling festival Les jours sont contés en Estrie is the oldest storytelling festival in Quebec, in terms of successive editions. Conducted by la Maison des arts de la parole (formerly Productions Littorale), it promotes the art of storytelling, issued from an age-old oral tradition, by offering, every year, a mass of activities for young and old. From local coffee shops, with their warm and intimate atmosphere, to auditoriums, it takes over various venues to spread the art of storytelling, which too many are still unaware of.
