Orchards: Chaudière-Appalaches A great part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region is a large fertile plain, favourable to apple growing. On these lands, the apple orchards abound. The apple growers grow more than 30 kinds of apples, including the most popular ones: Spartan, Empire, McIntosh, Red Delicious and Cortland. Most of the orchards also make apple by-products like ciders, juices, jellies and jams. In addition, most of the orchards let you pick your own apples.

Cidrerie et Vergers St-Nicolas

Come sample the delicious regional products of this cider factory. The ciders, the berry wines, the syrups, the jellies, the jams and the cider vinegars are some of the products you can buy on the premises. In season, you can pick your own fruit or buy fresh fruit and vegetables at the market.

Verger et Vignoble Casa Breton

This 24-hectare vineyard (60 acre) grows 5,000 apple trees and 4,000 vines. It produces delicious and delicate wines. Come taste the sparkling cider, the rosé, the liqueurs, the ice cider or the red wine. You can buy all these products at the boutique.
